Beijing is Ranked as Most Charitable City in China

As well as being unfriendly, Beijing is apparently the most charitable city in China, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

The survey which was issued on Saturday evening ranked 294 Chinese cities according to the following criteria: non public donations, volunteer service, charity organizations, government support and philanthropic structure.

Beijing was closely followed by Shanghai and Shenzhen, ranked second and third respectively.
