That would be me folks.  It is getting to a point where I am thinking of putting make-up on and straightening my hair before I go for my afternoon walks on the weekend.  I get my name shouted from apartments, stores, passing vehicles and I get stopped everywhere I go these days – even by the students’ parents.  I have never signed my name so many times before – I constantly get books and other objects thrust before me and get asked to write my name in/on them.  Of course, what keeps me grounded is that I am not walking on a red carpet, but rather – for example – amid local restaurateurs preparing food on the sidewalk for that day’s Plat du Jour.

On Saturday it was Pig Lungs.

Exactly what I have been craving.

Not.
