Beijing transport authorities have announced temporary subway closures over the national holiday. Qianmen station, on Line 2 will be closed for 6 days between September 30- October 6. The station is one of Beijing’s busiest due to it’s proximity to Tiananmen square and the famous Qianmen shopping street.
Beijing Zoo station will also be closed during rush hours, according to passenger flow, so pay attention to the station announcements, or avoid travelling to these stations if at all possible.
For alternative routes to Beijing Zoo, passengers can take bus No. 27, 87, 102, 105, 111, 334, 347, 360, 362, 534, 563, 608, 632, 697 or 714 to Dongwuyuan stop (动物园站）
For Qianmen, take bus No. 5, 8, 17, 20, 22, 48, 59, 66 , 67, 71, 82, 93, 120, 622 or 623 to Qianmen stop (前门站）
