Shenyang 72 Hour Visa Exemption Expected to Start at Beginning of Next Year

On the heels of the City of Dalian granting a 72 hour visa exemption, Shenyang has approved a similar policy allowing for visa-free entry to tourists. This makes Shenyang the first city in China’s north-east to allow such visa-free entrance to the country. This new policy is expected to first take place at the beginning of next year. After having approved of the policy, visitors from 45 countries entering the Fairy Peach International Airport holding a valid visa and airplane ticket to a third country of destination will be able to enjoy 72 hours of visa-free access within the city and surrounding territory.

Countries permitted to use the 72-hour visa waiver in Shenyang:




European Schengen countries

Austria, Belgium, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

Other European countries

Russia, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine

Americas

United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile

Asia Pacific

Australia, New Zealand

Asian countries

Korea, Japan, Singapore, Brunei, The United Arab Emirates, Qatar
