Shanghai Travel Disrupted Further by Airspace Restrictions
Jul 29, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Restriction on airspace above the East China Sea is causing chaos in Shanghai for people hoping to travel in and out of the city.  Train tickets are also selling out rapidly, particularly for the Beijing- Shanghai high speed service.

Between 14:00 and 18:00 flight capacity at both Hongqiao and Pudong airports will be down by around 75 percent.  During this time there will be no flights landing at Linyi, Xuzhou, Lianyungang, Huai’an, Yangcheng, Changzhou, Yangzhou, and Nantong airports. Certain flights scheduled to fly north from Wenzhou will also be cancelled.
