During the evening of May 29 and into the early hours of May 30, Shanghai police busted three brothels located on Jinhui Lu. At 22:00, police arrived in the area and according to tip offs, inspected areas that were suspected of engaging in prostitution.
Each entrance to the suspected areas featured a curtain covering the door and a man waiting outside. Upon entering, police found several young women wearing revealing clothing. At around 22:50, police rounded up around 10 people who were in charge of the three brothels, all of which are currently in custody under suspicion of engaging in prostitution.
