Shanghai Metro Lines Extending Operating Hours on September 30

To help with the increase of traffic as people begin their October holiday’s on September 30, Shanghai’s metro lines 1 and 2 will be extending their operating hours by one hour. Last trains for both Line 1 and 2 will be just after midnight. All other lines will be running a normal service.

In addition, from September 30 to October 3 Line 2 and 10’s Nanjing East station will close after 16:00. Trains will still pass through these stations but won’t stop.
