Record Lows: Cold Weather Warning for a Number of Regions in China

Cold air, rain, and snow will hit various parts of China from the morning of the November 23 to the evening of the 25th.

Northwestern Qinghai, eastern Northwest China, southern-central North China, southeastern Northeast China, and most of Huanghuai, Jianghuai, Jianghan, and Jiangnan, eastern Southwest China, and northern South China will experience a drop in temperature from 6-10℃. Some areas will cool off 10-12℃.

Temperatures in southern Shandong, northern Henan, Jiangsu, northern and western Jiangxi, southern Hunan, southeastern Guizhou, and northern Guangxi, will drop more than 12℃. These areas will also experience 4-6 level winds northern winds.

Northern and eastern parts of China will experience 7-8 gale force winds.

On November 26 to 27, temperatures along the Yangtze River will drop below 0℃. In central Inner Mongolia and northern North China, temperatures will drop to -15 to -25℃. Temperatures in central and southern North China will hit -14 to -6℃. Beijing will be very cold this week, with a low of -12℃, a record for the city.
