On April 29 China Eastern Yunnan Airlines opened a new flight between Beijing and Napyidaw, the capital of Myanmar, and is the first international route for the airline.
Flight MU 2587/8 will fly every Tuesday and Saturday between the two capitals.
The outbound flight will depart at 09:05, arriving in Kunming at 12:20. The second leg of the flight will depart Kunming at 13:30 and arrive in Napyidaw at 13:45 local time.
The return flight departs from Napyidaw at 14:40 (local time), and arrives in Kunming at 17:55. The flight from Kunming to Beijing departs at 19:20 and arrives in Beijing Capital Airport at 22:40.
Discount tickets starting at 299 RMB will be on offer to promote the new route.
