You can now fly directly to Honolulu, Hawaii from Beijing on Hawaii Airlines. As of April 14 flights in both directions will run every week on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. The Airbus A330-200 will leave Beijing at 01:05 and arrive in Hawaii at 05:50 the previous day, having traveled across the dateline.
