New Exhibition Provides Fascinating Insight into Shanghai’s Roots

The Shanghai Museum will be displaying a new exhibition that will give visitors an insight into the early development of civilization in Shanghai.
The exhibition, ‘Tracing History: Archaeological Discoveries in Shanghai’, will include pieces from throughout the area’s history, from Neolothic jades, Bronze pieces from the Spring and Autumn Period and gold from the Yuan Dynasty, right through to the Ming and Qing dynasties.
The exhibition will run until August 31 and is free of charge for all. For more details, please see the Shanghai Museum’s website.
