Chinese President Xi Jinping and Taiwanese President Ma Ying-jeou will meet for the first time in Singapore on November 7 in order to exchange views on the peaceful development of cross-strait relations.
Xi and Ma will salute each other “sir,” and shake hands before commencing formal meetings. They will then exchange views in a closed-door meeting, followed by a joint-press conference and formal dinner.
