A fight erupted between two Hunan officials at the Hengyang Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau on the morning of May 10, culminating with the bureau’s deputy chief having his nose bitten half off.
The fight broke out between Bureau Chief Wang Xianming and Deputy Chief Ceng Haokun. The two men reportedly got into a tiff after Ceng asked to use the bureau’s bus for personal business the following day (it was his mother’s birthday, according to an employee). Naturally, Wang refused Ceng’s request and things went from 0 to 11 very quickly, with “Wang biting off half of Ceng’s nose in the fight, while Ceng managed to gnaw at Wang’s fingers.”
Nice to know the citizens of Hengyang can rest assured that their leaders are doing a damn fine job governing.
