Luxury-Loving Chinese Tourists Become Easy Targets for Euro-Thieves

On April 1, a group of Chinese tourists in Paris were robbed. And on May 4, a similar incident occurred to a Chinese tour group in Rome, with the cash being stolen directly from the tour guide’s trouser pockets, no less. Many travel agencies have stated that they lose thousands of Euros every year to European thieves.

So what’s going on? Well, some have speculated that many Chinese tourists tend to walk around with giant wads of cash in their pockets, and, given the fact that so many of them indulge in luxury goods while abroad, many thieves instantly assume they’re loaded. So what’s the moral of the story here? Don’t flash your cash presumably.
