On September 7, the high speed railway service from Guangzhou to Nanchang officially opened. The journey now only takes 4 hours and 15 minutes and departs from Guangzhou South Railway Station, arriving at Nanchang West Railway Station.
Service G632 departs from Guangzhou South at 13:06, arriving at Nanchang West at 17:32; Service G636, Guangzhou South-Nanchang departs at 06:53, and arrives at 11:20 in Nanchang West Station.
The return service,G631 departs from Nanchang West at 08:14, arriving back in Guangzhou South at 12:47 and service G635 Nanchang West- Guangzhou South departs at 19:30, and arrives at 23:47.
Second class tickets are available for 472 RMB, whilst first class cost 768 RMB.
