Henan-Based University Website Hacked in Protest of Student Expulsion

A Henan-based university had their website hacked earlier this week following a freshman’s expulsion: the website suddenly displayed messages along the lines of “Why can’t we express love?”

The student, who was surnamed Guo, was expelled because he violated the school’s ban on campus romances. He was caught standing outside the dormitory of a female student with a bouquet of roses (thankfully he didn’t nearly burn the school down like this student in Liaoning, nor did he declare his love with 1001 hotdogs).

Unfortunately for this poor sap, the roses were enough to break university rules.

Romances on university campus have been a controversial topic. In many cities, strict regulations even lead to students retreating to motels or love hotels near campus with their boyfriends or girlfriends. A complex like this in Wuhan was recently exposed by the media.
