The fourth annual Beijing International Film Festival will take place between April 16 and 23. The festival will be split across more than 30 venues in Beijing, opening at the National Theater and closing at the Beijing Television Theater.
The event will mainly celebrate Chinese film but will also feature films from across many countries, cultures and themes. Sadly this year’s winner of the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival, ‘Black Coal, Thin Ice’, will not be shown, as it is banned in mainland China.
