Forbidden City Enforces Comprehensive Smoking Ban

A comprehensive smoking ban went into effect at Beijing’s Forbidden City (The Palace Museum) on May 18. According to the new regulation, staff and tourists are now strictly forbidden from smoking in all areas of the Forbidden City. Those in violation of the new ruling will be dealt with according to the law.
