Fingers Crossed: We May Soon See the First Guangzhou Budget Airline
Nov 06, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Shanghai Juneyao Airlines put forward a request to the Civil Aviation Administration to establish a low-cost airline based out of Guangzhou. If it all goes to plan, Guangzhou will welcome it first budget airline within the next half a year.

Juneyao Airlines will be the first to begin in China’s southern region, and with tickets as low as 9 or 19 RMB, it will open Guangzhou up to many popular routes. If successful, routes to South East Asia as well as further destinations could be added over time.
