The cooling down of the weather and implementation of dengue control measures should lead to a slowing down of the dengue epidemic in Guangdong, according to experts.

The areas with the most cases, Guangzhou, Foshan and Shenzhen, have already seen a stablisation in the dengue situation.

The Guangdong Provincial Health Department has announced that up until October 12, 20 different city departments have reported a total of 30,325 cases of dengue fever.
