It seems that someone is making a kuai or two out some ship containers in Shanghai. At 6 RMB per day, the containers cost around 180 RMB a month to rent. The six containers (3 on the first floor, and the 3 on the second floor) are located near Zhongshan Beilu, Langao Lu, and Jiaozhou Lu. While the apartments are sparse they have electricity and a couple of sockets on the wall and a light bulb as well as an air conditioning unit and a TV. What more do you need?

Running water, Shower, toilet? I guess these aren't important in China.
