Chinese Now Second Biggest International Property Buyers in the US

Overseas homebuyers spent 82.5 billion USD on realty in the United States from March 2011 to March 2012, according to the latest annual report released by America’s National Association of Realtors. Of that amount, 9 billion USD came from Chinese (including Hong Kong residents), accounting for 11 percent of the total. Chinese homebuyers are now the second largest group of overseas buyers in the US (Canadians remain the number one group).
