The “Global Competitiveness Report 2013-2014” was released at the World Economic Forum in Geneva on September 4. According to the report, out of the 148 economies listed, Switzerland and Singapore earned the top spots, while China’s position remained the same as last year at number 29.
Among the Asian economies, Hong Kong (No.7) and Japan (No.9) were the only two to make it into the top ten ranking.
