CNY-AUD Exchange Now Available at Chinese Banks Nationwide

On April 9, the People’s Bank of China released a statement on their official website which stated that from April 10, the Chinese Yuan can be directly exchanged with Australian Dollar at banks across the country.

Simply head to your local branch of choice, and you should now be able to exchange RMB for Australian Dollars. Following the U.S. Dollar and the Japanese Yen, the Australian Dollar is now the third currency which can be directly exchanged from RMB in Chinese banks.

The current exchange rate (as of April 10) is 0.1534 Australian dollars to 1 RMB.
