Beijing Metro’s newest line, line 14, will officially open its latest stop on February 15. The Qilizhuang (七里庄) station, which intersects line 9, will open tomorrow in the latest progression of what will be the city’s second longest metro line. Upon completion line 14 will extend to 47.7 km, second only to the massive 57.1 km of line 10. The move also signals new access to the 5 stops west of Qilizhuang.
