4.68 Million Affected by South China Rainstorms; 15 Dead

From June 5, many parts of south China have been repeatedly battered by bouts of torrential rain, with some areas experiencing lightning storms and hail.

Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan were all affected by the extreme weather with some parts seeing floods and landslides. 

According to the Civil Administration Departments of the areas hit by the weather, 4.68 million people have been affected while 15 people have died and two have been reported missing.
