The following survey of Chinese netizen’s opinions on the Green Dam-Youth Escort web filtering software was conducted on ifeng.com, a popular Chinese website. Over 32,000 people quickly took the opportunity to voice their opinions on the controversial software. Originally planned to be installed on all computers sold in China starting July 1st, at the last minute the roll out of the internet filtering software was postponed.
