Yunnan Hospital Nailed for Corruption, Received Millions in Bribes
Apr 29, 2015 By eChinacities.com

The Supreme People's Procuratoriate recently posted a bulletin detailing a huge corruption case in Yunnan. The court reported that Yunnan's First People's Hospital received 35 million Yuan in bribes from 2005 to 2014, as well as a 100 car parking garage worth 80 million Yuan. Some interesting conversations must have happened in that hospital: Need a heart transplant? That will be five million Yuan, and a new pediatric wing please!

This is pretty much every hospital in China... this one just got sloppy or didn't bribe the right officials with a liver or lung transplant. They all work on bribes from patients... Chinese doctors wouldn't make much more than a migrant worker if they didn't. Many Chinese doctors told me this to my face. Make doctor friends in China!
