Following up from our story the other week about another Hollywood celebrity performing a random publicity stunt in China, a photo of Nicholas Cage apparently checking out a seafood shop in Shanghai recently popped up all over Chinese media sites.
Cage was last seen in Shanghai on March 2 promoting his film “Stolen”, though netizens reported seeing him again on the morning of May 29 walking around a seafood market near the Shanghai Global Financial Club. According to netizens’ accounts, Cage also bought some rice wine and engaged in what we can only imagine was a hilarious bargaining session with the sellers.
It was later confirmed that Cage was in fact in Shanghai with his wife and several celebrities (including Maggie Q) promoting luxury goods at an international exhibition in Shanghai.
