Uproar After China Bans Cheese Imports from Britain

Uproar After China Bans Cheese Imports from Britain

There has been a backlash in British media of late after China banned cheese imports from the region after inspecting just one dairy enterprise. After that specific dairy producer failed an inspection, authorities in China have put a stop to all cheese products coming from Great Britain until further notice. Part of the discontent in Britain is over the fact that the factory in question doesn’t even export its products to China.

The ban, effective as of May 1, is accused of being overkill by British press. In an attempt to fix the problem, British environmental health officers are aiding the British Food Standards Agency in inspecting the relevant dairy producers.

The ban threatens to put a strain on Sino-British relations as Britain hopes to expand their reach within the Chinese market.

its all about money and it has nothing to do with safety, if you have been watching for the past 2 years local Chinese companies have been selling rat , donkey . and fox meats to their own citizens but a fine cheese from the uk is a problem
