Tomorrow morning, a total solar eclipse is going be visible in several countries in southeast Asia.

In case you’ve forgotten, a solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, partially or sometimes fully blocking the image of the sun depending on where you are on Earth.

A “total” solar eclipse occurs when the moon appears larger than the sun in the sky, meaning that if you’re standing in the right place, all direct sunlight is blocked, and day temporarily turns to night. This time, the area of total eclipse will mainly be in Indonesia, but many other countries in southeast Asia will be able to catch a glimpse of a partial solar eclipse.

Here is a timetable of the eclipse for some of the major cities in southern China.
