Report: China Now Has 710 Million Internet Users

There are now 710 million Internet users in China, according to a new report recently released by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC). This year, there have been 21.32 million new Internet users as of June 2016.

China’s Internet penetration rate is now 51.7%, up 1.3% from June 2015. 92.5% of the Internet-using population uses mobile Internet, up from 90.1% in 2015. There are now 656 million mobile Internet users in China.
