Real-Name Registration Required for Packages until Next March
Oct 23, 2015 By eChinacities.com

Packages sent in China from now until March next year must be registered using the real-name system. The Ministry of Public Security put forth the new rule as a deterrent against shipping hazardous materials and explosives in the mail.

The real-name system will be used for sealed packages, and express mail. The packages will be sent through X-ray machines and other new security management systems will be implemented.
