A finger bending contest was held on Weibo recently which challenged netizens to post photos with their fingers bent into peculiar positions. Kudos is given to those who can twist their fingers into the most unimaginable shapes, currently over 1,000 people have taken part.
One photo of a man bending his hand backwards around a bottle shocked users however (look closely at the photo and you’ll see). After seeing the photo, netizens have expressed either disgust or amazement at the freakish act.
Commenting on the photo, Yan Suping, Director of hand surgery at the Wuhan Pu’ai Hospital, warned people to take care when bending their fingers into such positions; as we all know that it’s not going to be pretty when someone breaks their hand attempting to top the above photo.
