French Violinist Gérard Poulet Performing in Xi’an March 31

French Violinist Gérard Poulet will hold his solo music concert in Xi’an on March 31. Gérard Poulet was born in a French conductor family in 1938. At 18, he beat out many other competitors at the Italian International Paganini Competition’s to win first prize. Besides being a fantastic performer he is also an outstanding professor and has been teaching at the Paris National Higher Conservatory of Music and Dance and Paris Conservatory.

In Xi’an he will be accompanied by Yori Kawashima, who has rich performing experiences in both solo and chamber and symphony orchestras. Kawashima is also an award winner.
