China will have a three day holiday from September 3 to September 5 to celebrate Victory Over Japan Day. The holiday celebrates the 70th anniversary of of the “Anti-Japanese War,” and the “World Anti-Fascist War.” September 6 will be a work day.
Beijing will implement a number of regulations leading up to and on the day of the holiday itself. The city's airports will be shut down the morning of September 3. The newest security-related announcement from the city warned residents that all packages mailed will be checked and packages will need signatures to be delivered leading up to the holiday.
