Oct 21, 2013 By eChinacities.com

On September 3, West Lake first promoted its 200 RMB annual pass for access to its leisure boats. A family with up to three members (child no higher than 1.2 meters high) is able to ride these leisure boats and sail around West Lake up to twice a day on a daily basis. More than 1600 annual passes were issued in the first pressing, but a second printing is currently underway.

An annual pass for West Lake Tour Line grants you permission to tour the lake by boat. From setting out at the Sudi Flower Harbor Fish Gazing Pier, visitors will continue to Yingzhou eastward and keep encircling the outer edge of the lake by strolling through the “Three Ponds Mirroring the Moon” in a counter-clockwise fashion. The entire journey takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes, and visitors will exit by the original point of departure.

Starting from October 21, there will be a new addition of “Lake Tour, B Line”. Having a route from Flower Harbor Pier to Rainbow Straddling Bridge Pier (Sudi North Entrance Pier), this trip will take 30 minutes to complete.

Foreigners need only to have a Hangzhou city temporary residential pass and a valid passport to be able to apply for an annual pass.
