7 Tourists Killed by Falling Rocks in Guilin

Seven tourists were killed by falling rocks on Guilin's Diecai Hill this morning around 10:30 am. Eight tourists were preparing to get into a boat for a tour when they were crushed by oncoming boulders. Four died at the scene and four were injured. Two fire engines and 14 officers were immediately dispatched to the scene. Three of the four injured tourists later died of severe injuries while in the hospital, bringing the death toll up to seven.
