The facilities and environment are pristine, so it’s hard to imagine that this was an ancient battle field from the Three Kingdoms era, one of ten in Hefei. The whole garden is divided into two parts, East Park, with the famous Happy Lake, a playground equipped with complete recreational facilities, as well pavilions bridges and other landscape features. The west park features more garden ornaments in a quiet seating area. Overall, this is a great park to enjoy antique beauty and a rich cultural atmosphere.

Hefei Wildlife Park is a national four level scenic area, and is the only wildlife park in Anhui Province. The park has more than 120 animal species, including giant pandas, cranes, elk, monkeys and other rare animals. The park also features 31 rare endangered black muntjaks and the largest enterable aviary in the country. Walk across the 500 meters sightseeing bridge called Noah's Ark for a great view of the park. Other exhibits include the Peacock Garden, Monkey Park, Chimpanzees Hall, Amphibians and Reptiles among others. Don’t miss the sea lion show to see these cute animals perform.

Hanhai Polar Ocean World is a beautiful leisure and entertainment area in a large scale marine park. It includes an aquarium, tropical rain forest habitat display area and a penguin and whale museum. Animals in the park include whales from Japan, Argentinean capybaras, Amazon lizards and other rare animals. The "greatest treasures" from the Pacific region are the rare false killer whales and flower whales. Its unique three-dimensional ocean sea and air show is another highlight of the park. It has a mix of fish, gigantic sea turtles and is surrounded by ferocious sharks. It’s definitely a show not to be missed.
