If bathroom-related bus antics in China of late are anything to go by, at least this is somewhat of an improvement.

A photo of some clothes hanging up on a rail of a bus in Quanzhou, Fujian, has recently gone viral. The photo was taken on June 25 and shows four items of clothing (one of which appears to be underwear) casually hung up over the heads of passengers.

Ticket inspector Chen later confirmed that the woman and her child had been soaked by rain prior to getting on the bus, and he allowed the mother to hang the wet clothes up after she expressed fear of her son catching a cold.

Netizens have shown both support and objection toward the woman, while some mentioned the potential inconvenience it could have caused other passengers. The bus company has also stated it doesn’t encourage such behavior, despite Chen’s actions.
