2009 Qingdao International Beer Festival - August 15 to 30

Qingdao’s International Beer Festival has gained it worldwide recognition as China’s biggest beer festival with 2 full weeks of beach, sand, and lots and lots of beer. International beer companies from all over the world flock to China’s sandy shores in Shandong Province for beer tastings and exhibitions. This event will no doubt give you insight into why every year thousands of people take part in the festivities in a Chinese tradition that’s been going strong since 1991. This summer, from August 15-30, come join Qingdao’s locals, expats, and visitors in drinking China’s famous Tsingtao beer and “Ganbei with the World” at the 2009 Qingdao International Beer Festival!

Qingdao is known in China for its festivals and fun. From the Cherry Blossom Festival to the Qingdao Bar Culture Festival and International Fashion Week, this city knows how to host a good time.
