Every year on October 28th the World Health Organization holds Men's Health Day, but 70% of men don’t’ know about their own holiday. A "Chinese Male Sexual Satisfaction Survey Report" was released in Beijing yesterday to coincide with Men’s Health Day, revealing that 70% of men think that their quality of life is not sufficient, citing that work pressure and mental stress are their biggest health killers.

At yesterday's opening of the National Men's Forum on erectile dysfunction treatment, the organizers issued a report on the health status of men.  The report was issued by the Chinese Medical Development Research Association and took 5 months to complete. Through the medical establishment survey, online surveys, street surveys and other forms, a total of 32,652 valid questionnaires were received.

The survey report shows that Chinese men are far higher infrequency with intercourse in married life than in Western countries; 67% said they average 2-5 times a month with married life, 3% said less than once a month. But when asked how to evaluate their physiological state in the last month, 36% were dissatisfied, 40% said a few times they’ve had trouble and only 0.5% of people said they were satisfied with the quality of life with their partner . If asked to rate their sexual satisfaction out of 100, 70% of the men answered less than 60 and only 1% of the people rated 80 or more points. At the same time, 14% of the males said they experienced some sort of sexual dysfunction, or psychological disorder, revealing that sexual dysfunction is becoming more and more common among men.

Regarding healthy habits, up to 50% of men are not conducive to healthy living habits, including smoking, alcohol consumption, sedentary lifestyle, anger and staying up late among others. 65% said they use a computer every day for more than eight hours. Regarding physical exercise that is conducive to a healthy lifestyle, up to 75% of men said they have "no time to exercise," and only less than 1% of people will exercise once a week. Moreover, the number of people who exercise every day is minimal.

Regarding employment and economic environment, work is still the greatest source of pressure for men. 47% of men feel pressure at work or mental stress, while only 0.2% of men felt no pressure. Accompanying that, 68% of men often experience anxiety, insomnia, weakness and fatigue indicating that work pressure and mental stress has become a extreme health hazard and men's number one killer.
