Zuckerberg Braves the Beijing Air as he Ran the 100th Mile of His Fitness Challenge
Mar 18, 2016 By eChinacities.com

This morning, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg completed the 100th mile of his 2016 fitness challenge in Beijing of all places.

Zuckerberg ran from Tiananmen Square, past the Forbidden City to the Temple of Heaven. Despite the AQI 337 air in Beijing this morning, Zuckerberg ran without a mask.

At the start of the year, Zuckerberg announced that he had a personal challenge for 2016, to run 365 miles this year. The 31 year old CEO asked others to join him in the challenge he calls “A Year of Running”, and currently the Facebook group has over 112,000 members.

Although Facebook is blocked in China, Zuckerberg is no stranger to China and Chinese culture. Not only has Zuckerberg made several trips to China over the years, but he also speaks fluent Mandarin, which he first learned in order to better communicate with his wife’s family.

This guy knows his marketing. Probably planned by the company's PR-department, as a way to access China.

Confucius had a saying, "To be rich without arrogance is easy, to be poor without resentment is quite difficult."

Zuckerberg's in-laws seem to do nothing for his own parentage..Yet milk the cash cow for all he's worth in terms of clannage...I wonder if they even acknowledge Zuckerberg's family or if it is pretty much just "you must do this to help so-and-so (china)..you are our daughter's husband"

China would never allow such a sociopathic web platform such as this to be let loose in its country. Just look at the influence it +you tube etc) has had in a place like India, where women can no longer go out unaccompanied.

"If I run when the AQI is over 300 without a mask and publicise it, will you finally give me access to the Chinese market?"

"You sure it's the last one and then you'll unblock Facebook?!" "Yeah yeah sure sure *giggles*" "Not like the last time where I had to ask Xi to name my offspring and then he refused and that was not in the plan?" "Of course not!" "Or that time where I had to perform in Chinese despite horrible accent? Or that time where I had to marry that girl, or..." "But this time you gotta look like you're enjoying it, remember *giggles* *giggles*".
