Zhoushan Bridge Group Opens Shortening Ningo-Shanghai Trip by 2 Hours
Dec 30, 2009 By eChinacities.com

Zhoushan Bridge opened to traffic on Dec. 25th, one month later than originally planned due to the delay caused when a Korean cargo ship crashed into its pier. Zhoushan Bridge actually consists of five bridges – Cengang Bridge, Xiangxiaomen Bridge, Taoyaomen Bridge, Xihoumen Bridge, Jintang Bridge – and the connecting roads. The project shortens travel time between Ningbo and Zhoushan from more than two hours to less than one hour. The time from Zhoushan to Shanghai is also reduced from five hours to three.
