As of July 14th, Zhengzhou officials have decided to provide residents with 32 more places where they can get shade from the hot, sweltering summer sun. Zhang Deying, director of the Civil Air Defense Office in Zhengzhou, has announced that starting with this year on June 1st, his office will continue to open civil air defensive structures to the public at the same time every summer.

On the morning of July 14th, Zhengzhou officials opened 32 bomb/air-raid shelters to the public for the first time – including 2 municipal-level shelters as well as 5 shelters in each of the regions (Zhongyuan district, Erqi district, Jinshui district, Guancheng district, Huiji district, Shangjie district). Together, the shelters occupy a total space of 150,000 square meters.

If you should encounter any problems when using the shelters, or if you have any suggestions, you can call the local Business News hotline at 0371—65866299.
