Yiwu Per Capita GDP Exceeds 10,000 US Dollars

According to the recent figures from the city's statistics bureau, Yiwu's per capita GDP has exceeded 10,000 US dollars for the first time in history, which makes Yiwu the first in central Zhejiang Province to reach the level of a medium income developed country. Yiwu produced a total GDP volume of nearly 52 billion RMB in 2009 and has a population of 730,000.
