Yinchuan to Implement Staggered Working Hours System From March 7th

Yinchuan will adopt a system of staggering working hours from March 7th in order to ease traffic pressure during rush hour.

The working hours for Yinchuan’s party and government departments, state-owned enterprises, institutions and social groups will be changed to 08:30 -12:30 in the morning and 13:00 - 17:30 in the afternoon. Elementary schools will have their lessons from 08:00 to 16:20, junior high schools from 08:00 to 17:10 and senior high schools from 07:30 to 17:55.

However, the new rule will not be applied to hospitals, financial institutions and large shopping centres.
