Yinchuan's long distance bus station is a busy hub for visitors to the city. Buses leave for Beijing, Xi'an (11-14 hrs), Lanzhou (7 hrs), Jinan, Baoji, Taiyuan (15 hrs) daily, and most cities within Ningxia Province. Yinchuan also has a Tourist Bus Station, from which visitors can catch buses to many of the major tourist hotspots including West Xia Tombs and Sand Lake.
Long-distance bus is a good option for travelers coming through Yinchuan, thanks to its central positioning in a network of National Highways. The 109 connects Yinchuan with Beijing through Inner Mongolia and connects it to Tibet through Qinghai and Gansu; the 110 connects it with Beijing. Other roads like the 211 and the 307 or the Fuzhou-Yinchuan expressway ensure that most popular destinations within China are easy to reach by road.
Yinchuan Transport Station New Stop (South): Opened in 2009, around the same time that Yinchuan South Bus Station was closed.
