On January 14, CCTV weather announced that a yellow warning for the recent “foggy conditions” (read: hazardous smog) blanketing much of eastern and central China will be in effect until January 16. Cold air fronts are expected to sweep in on January 16-17 and January 20-22, hopefully dissipating the “fog”.
