Xi'an to Stage Interactive Multimedia Exhibition of Art Masterpieces
Jan 22, 2010 By eChinacities.com

An interactive multimedia exhibition of art masterpieces will be held in Xi'an Art Museum from January 23rd onwards. This is the second time (after Beijing) that such an interactive, multimedia, high-tech presentation (with 3D holograms and voice recognition) is used to present art masterpieces. In the exhibit, Leonardo da Vinci will talk you through the Mona Lisa and Van Gogh will explain his dreams and hopes with his world famous piece “Sunflowers”. What used to be silent paintings confined to canvases are silent and confined no longer; this exhibition literally allows paintings to “come to life”, as they are able to talk, interact, and even respond to audiences through voice recognition technology.
